Blast yourself in Rio Carnival

Arrival at the airport, meet and great by our representative and transfer to your 5 star Hotel on th world famous Copacabana beach in air-conditioned vehicle(s). Our staff has prepared the Check-in formalities and guests will only have to sign in, while enjoying a deserved welcome drink.

Dinner at Churrascaria Fogo de Chao

After a well deserved shower, meeting in the lobby and transfer in A/C vehicle for dinnerat Churrascaria Fogo de Chao. Enjoy the salad buffet and the finest choice of meat in the world, all in a nice and typically, relaxed, Brazilian atmosphere. After dinner guests are returned to their hotel for overnight.

Sugar Loaf:

Meeting in the lobby and transfer by A/C vehicle to the foot of the Sugar Loaf. The cable car will take you guests up both levels. From the top of this 310 m. high rock you will have a magnificent view of the beach of Copacabana and downtown Rio de Janeiro. After the visit we will have lunch at Marius Degustare in Copacabana.

Samba lessons:

After lunch we continue to the dance school of Carlinhos the Jesus, renowned for his contributions to Brazilian samba. The teachers assure you that no one will leave their class without at least dominating the basics of the famous Brazilian Samba

Return to the hotel.

Overnight

After your buffet breakfast, meeting in the lobby of the hotel and departure in A/C transport to visit Rio’s most important landmark: `Cristo Redentor`. On top of the 700 m. high Corcovadomountain, the 30 m. high statue welcomes anyone visiting this wonderful city with open arms.

Free time for lunch

At night, visit the samba school

You will visit one of the many samba schools, rehearsing for the upcoming carnival (in march in 2019) and will be able to participate and see why Brazilians love their carnival so much.

Return to the hotel.

Overnight

Parading during the Carnival:

Evening meeting in the lobby of the hotel and departure for the Sambadrome, the parading ground in the downtown area of Rio where the main carnival parade takes place. We will be lead to our section by the Master of Ceremony of the samba school we have selected (Grupo Especial). It takes around 45 mins. To cover the 800 m. stretch till the end of the Sambadrome. 80.000 people will welcome you with their cheers and applauses to the rhythm of the ever present samba drums. It is a once in a lifetime experience. Before and after the parading guests can freely return to the VIPseats.

For those who do not want to parade we have reserved some fist class seating at the parade level right in front of the action. From here you can watch the colorful samba schools at close distance.

VIP suite (optional):

Arriving at the Sambadrome we are escorted to our VIP suites with view on the parading grounds. The lounge is at the guests disposal for the night and snacks and drinks flow freely while they can enjoy the other samba schools parading right in front of them.

The samba parade normally starts around 19h00 when the first school enters the arena. Every school takes around 45 mins.to cover the ground till the end of the arena. In the Special groups there are around 6 schools parading every night (sun and mon). The parade ends in the early hours of the morning (around 6 am). To offer more freedom to the guests we normally schedule min. two return (to hotel) transfers for the night. First one around 1 am and second one around 3 am. This can off course be adapted case necessary. We encourage guests only to leave in the interval between schools (around 30 mins.).
