Jungles and stunning beaches

For this experience, we have selected a series of activities that will introduce you to the local culture and traditions in a completely authentic way.

The itinerary has been built for you to get the most out of your journey, taking care of every little detail, for you to enjoy.

During this journey, you will experience The Mexican Caribbean in some of its numerous facets:

• Indigenous Heritage: Coba, Chichen Itza & Tulum archaeological sites.

• Holistic Experiences: Azulik Uh May, an eco-friendly arts complex and holistic centre.

• Natural Wonders: “El Cielo” sandbank & white sand beaches.

• Recent history: Magical Town of Valladolid.

• Modern spectacles: “Coco Bongo”, “Xoximilco” & “The Gran Tlachco”.

For this first experience, we will visit the archaeological zone of Cobá that has the highest pyramid of the Yucatan peninsula, NOHOCH MUL, with 120 steps and 42 meters high, the view from the top is incredible, since you can see all the jungle that surrounds it.

One of the greatest metropolis of the Mayan world, when the traveller arrives at the summit of the NOHOCH MUL pyramid, which dominates the jungle, from its forty-two meters of height in Cobá, a flaming rain, immense, and the cardinal points are simply… lost.

On our way back to Tulum, we will have the chance to experience a unique environment; a holistic centre and galleria created in the middle of the jungle: Azulik Uh May - a holistic centre for human vision and evolution reconnecting individuals and tribes –both native and contemporary – with one another, with others and with the environment.

For this day, we will be immersed in one of the modern world 7 Wonders: Chichén Itzá - The legendary Mayan capital, nested in the middle of the jungle.

Chichén Itzá: Power and splendour between war, trade and flowers. Although the passage of time and climate have covered Chichén Itzá with a greyish and deteriorated appearance of raw stone, the buildings were originally painted. The commerce and communication networks of the Maya were very extensive and allowed them to transport mineral pigments with which they painted their constructions and which were considered of great value. The predominant colours were red and blue, sacred colors for the Maya, followed by green and yellow or gold.

On our way back, we will stop at Valladolid: One of the oldest cities on the peninsula and recently named as “Magic Town”.

In Valladolid, a peaceful air is breathed, a typical small town, full of history and extremely rich in traditions. We will spend some time around the town, and get lunch, to enjoy some of the best interpretations of the local cuisine.

After lunch and having the chance to enjoy and relax, we will have the chance admire an amazing show in preferential seats and with a 7-course regular or completely vegan menu so you can enjoy a delicious dinner with either one; an experience you will never forget.

“The Gran Tlachco” is the venue of this colourful spectacle, one of the main attractions of Xcaret Park, and now you can enjoy it along with an exclusive gourmet dinner that combines the flavours and scents of Mexico.

We will keep exploring the wonderful Caribbean, today we will be reaching for the stars… literally.

Be ready to be swept away by this gorgeous sand bank, that has become a natural habitat for starfish. We planned a yacht day to “El Cielo” (The Sky), a sandbank that gets its name because it is a natural habitat for starfish.

Its crystal-clear waters and white sand, make this activity something unique.

Once back in land, we will have time to walk around “Playa del Carmen”. Idyllic place located in the heart of the Mayan Riviera with fine sand and white sand and blue-green waters, always find a hammock and an umbrella to sunbathe and rest, especially at the borders of the population that offers the best and quietest beach areas.

Playa del Carmen was initially called Xamanhá which in Mayan means “water from the north”, with the arrival of the Spaniards who conquered much of the Mayan sites is as it was named: Playa del Carmen in honour of the Virgen del Carmen that in Spain is the patron saint of the sea.

For this day, you will have the chance to enjoy the Caribbean by yourselves, so you can decide to spend some time around the hotel or to adventure in any of the activities that Mayan Riviera has to offer to the visitors. Your decision!!

After a day packed with adventure, we will spend the evening living an interpretation of one of Mexico’s most beloved spots: Xochimilco.

We will meet the fun a vibrant side of our folklore at XOXIMILCO: a tribute to traditions, culture and folklore.

It is on board a colourful trajinera that will take you through the enchanting natural scenery of XOXIMILCO, where celebrations, dancing, toasts, music and fun games come to life
