Your itinerary
Ensenada: Arrival and transfer to Valle de Guadalupe.
Day 1
Arrival Valle de Guadalupe
A region gifted with some of the most spectacular landscapes in the world. A mixture of desert, oceans, dunes, and incredible local hidden jewels. Recently, the region has become world famous because of the wine production in the “Wine Route”. In Baja California, 90% of Mexican wine is produced, with more than 150 wine houses. The Wine Route includes the valleys of the Northern region of the Peninsula.
After landing in Ensenada, we will drive to the Valley. During this drive, we will visit Puerto Nuevo, recognized internationally for its lobster, a tradition since the 1950s, when fishermen and their wives offered fresh delicacies from the sea to American tourists, served with rice, beans, a unique spicy sauce and large flour tortillas. This way of eating lobster has become very popular and Puerto Nuevo is now a lobster villa with dozens of restaurants, cobbled streets, crafts and cafes.
For the evening, we will have a drink at rooftop, that will work as an exceptional viewpoint with the best view of the bay of all Valle de Guadalupe.

LAS NUBES: A project born in 2008, is the most recent renowned vineyard in the Guadalupe Valley. However, its early existence does not make a dent in the quality of its wines. Here, we will have an exclusive “Blind tasting”, to learn about the local flavours and aromas in the wines.
CASA DE PIEDRA: It was born as a family-inspired project in 1997. The motor idea is and always has been; obtain wines that are characterized by their "origin". Here, we will visit “Conchas de Piedra”, a specialized oyster bar, to pair the house wines.
DECANTOS: a winery that works by decantation or gravity, this project was born about 7 years ago with the firm idea to eliminate the mechanical pumping and use only the natural law of gravity from the beginning process of receiving the grapes to the final bottling. We will have the chance to taste some of their wines, and learn about this new wining process.
For dinner, we will enjoy the creations at DECKMAN´S: an amazing farm-to-table experience. Sustainable ingredients and wines are used to create a culinary experience hard to compare.
