Adventure in Cambodia

Upon your arrival at Siem Reap Airport, our team will welcome you with jasmine flowers and assist you with your visa (Fast track). Then you will be greeted by your English speaking guide and transferred in a private old Mercedes vehicle to your hotel for check-in.

A bottle of white wine will welcome you in your traditional Khmer house.

Free time at leisure to rest.

In the afternoon you might want to enjoy an Amma Shiatsu massage at the Spa of your hotel, the perfect place to be pampered and relax.

For the evening, the basement of your Khmer house will have been decorated with some comfortable pillows, creating a cocooning and romantic atmosphere.

There, you will enjoy a nice dinner, and a private screening of the movie of your choice.

This morning you will do your first step at the Magical Angkor site; your English guide with your tuktuk will pick you up at your hotel.

Start to discover Angkor Temple with Angkor Thom on foot.

You will visit the Terrace of the Leper King, referring to the statue that sits on the top of the platform. And Then, the Royal Palace, the Terrace of the Elephants, an impressive two and a half meter tall wall used by the king as a giant reviewing stand for public ceremonies. Continue to walk to reach the Phimeanakas Temple, and then the Baphuon Temple. You will discover the forest of Angkor and feel the serene atmosphere. Then the Bayon with its giant stone faces, one of the most recognizable images connected to classic Khmer art.

You will start your bicycle tour from Bayon Temple to reach the death Gate. From there, you will follow the rampart of Angkor Thom. This path is always forgotten by most of the travelers. From the north gate you will continue by bike to Preah Khan, one of the most important complexes erected during the former Khmer Empire. Much more than a temple, it testifies the organization of a small city which included a university. Named Jayaçri in Sanskrit ("holy city of victory"), Preah Khan was built by Jayavarman VII on the site of his victory over the invadorsChams in 1191, and in honor of his father. This temple remains a remarkable example of the single storey architecture, the so-called "monastic" style . It also marked a major milestone in the history of Angkor, the great religious reform which, while tolerating Hinduism, instituted Cambodian Buddhism of Mahayana.

Lunch at a local restaurant

You will cross the Angkor Forest  by bike, and discover a small bridge when you  arrive at the Temple of Ta Nei. Invaded by vegetation and "away from the great crowd," this work of Jayavaraman VII, managed to escape many tourists because of its location a little "outside the box". You can admire the beauty of this Buddhist temple of the XII century and its bas-reliefs, in a peaceful and quiet atmosphere.

After few meters you will finish your bike tour with Ta Prohm, one of the most beautiful and famous temples in the area, as it has been (almost) untouched since it was discovered and retains much of its mystery. For all would-be Mouhot and Indiana Joneses, Ta Prohm is the perfect lost-temple-in-the-jungle: strangler figs trees and kapok trees entwine themselves around the ruins of Ta Prohm. Their roots burst apart even the thickest of walls, yet their clinging embrace prevents the walls' collapse.

At 8pm, enjoy the “Cambodian circus” show in Siem Reap / Angkor by energetic and talented young professional artists from Phare!

You will be welcome by your English local guide, your transportation is an old Jeep

You will go on exploration of the Khmer countryside, on the red path, the old Royal Road during the Angkor time, and in the middle of the rice fields.  You will discover the local and daily life, and you could stop to the local market of Roluos.

You will reach the pier to embark on your private boat and discover Tonle Sap Lake with a visit in Kampong Pluk village. You will go between the houses on stilts with small private boats. The natural wonder of Tonle Sap offers an insight into the old tradition of lake life and the splendor of the countryside.

You will enjoy your lunch in one of the traditional houses.

Then, with your jeep you will discover  the pre-Angkorian Roluos Group, site of the first Angkor King, Jayavarman II’s Capital City, Hariharalaya consisting of three major temples: Preah Ko, Bakong and Lolei.

You will finnaly reach one private place which’s just in the middle of the rice field.

You will enjoy some canapé and a cocktail during the sunset over the rice field.

You will start your journey with Angkor Wat, Cambodia's ancient temple city and one of the wonders of the oriental world. Masterpieces of decorative details as well as of architectural style, those awe-inspiring ruins survive as testament to the spectacular achievements of Southeast Asia's greatest civilization.

Lunch at your own expenses

Afternoon, depart for visiting Banteay Srei temple, the fabled pink temple of women, so called because it is made of pink sandstone and considered a tribute to the beauty of women.

On the way back from Banteay Srey temple, stop in a village for a fresh coconut drink and to observe how Cambodian people collect the sugar palm and tend to  the rice fields (depend on season).

At 5 pm you will be transfer to the Cambodia Quad Bike office. After a short safety briefing and familiarization training ride you will head out to the rice fields surrounding Siem Reap. Ride will go past several local villages, where you can see how people live in Cambodian countryside. You will enjoy a fun and nice moment at the sunset.

Dinner at Embassy restaurant, a Khmer Fusion Restaurant, one of the best address of Siem Reap.

You will transfer to Siem Reap airport for your flight to Phnom Penh.
