See six different neighbourhoods, ranging from working-class havens to boutique boulevards.
Hear how Athens was transformed from a town into a modern city, all in the shadow of its own ancient glory.
Uncover hidden spots with stories to tell or treasures (edible, wearable or collectible) to offer.
Stop for coffee in a secret courtyard right in the middle of one of the city’s busiest spots.
Catch up with what the city’s doing now – its street art, its new hotspots, its creative scene.
Afterwards we will take you to a romantic restaurant with a view of the Parthenon, for an excellent dinner.

The Acropolis:
The greatest and finest sanctuary of ancient Athens dedicated primarily to its patron, the goddess Athena, dominates the centre of the modern city from the rocky crag known as the Acropolis. The most celebrated myths of ancient Athens, its greatest religious festivals, earliest cults and several decisive events in the city's history are all connected to this sacred precinct. The monuments of the Acropolis stand in harmony with their natural setting. These unique masterpieces of ancient architecture combine different orders and styles of Classical art in a most innovative manner and have influenced art and culture for many centuries.
Acropolis Museum:
The Acropolis Museum was founded to exhibit all the significant finds from the Sacred Rock and its foothills. It was designed by architect Bernard Tschumi with Michael Photiadis and inaugurated in the summer of 2009. The Museum hosts its collections across three levels, as well as in the archaeological excavation that lies at its foundations.

Canaves Oia Epitome
The story of Canaves Oia begins in 1985 when the Chaidemenos family were among the first families to introduce tourism to the fishing village of Oia in Santorini. It was then that Yiannis and Anna Chaidemenos transformed 17th-century caves, once used to store wine, into designer-chic luxury hotel rooms. The birth of the Canaves Oia brand led to hotel’s all-white minimalistic concept, which redefined the meaning of luxury accommodation in Santorini. Yiannis and Anna started with 2 caves only and eventually, the hotel expanded to 18 hotel rooms to become the ideal hideaway for romantic couples and newlyweds
Explore the history and past of Santorini at the lost city of Akrotiri, the most impressive prehistoric site all over the Aegean. Then, spend you afternoon sipping crisp Santorini volcanic wine during visits to 3 traditional wineries all acclaimed by international experts.

Santorini’s long history of winemaking is evidenced in some of Akrotiri’s remains, providing the perfect cue for your next round of visits — to three of the island’s traditional wineries
Admire the ambience of the vineyards as you travel to each of the wineries and taste a total of 12 wines across your three visits.Wines have been made on the island for more than 4,000 years and are renowned for their delightful crispness and high acidity, both resulting from Santorini’s aspa — the island’s unique, volcanic soil.
Enjoy a cellar tour at each winery and learn about the different winemaking processes. Hear how the grapes are grown in baskets near the ground rather than on trellises to capture maximum moisture from the island’s minimal rainfall.
Your 12 tasting wines will include favored varietals such as nykteri, vinsanto and assyrtiko and be paired with local goodies such as cheese and snacks to balance out their tastes. Finally, end your tour with a drop-off back at your hotel after a fun, educational and flavorful day.
